Updates
Hello All,
Wow, it's a been a very busy and productive term. Everyone has been working so well and everyone is looking forward to the holidays.
This week we went to the art room and we used pastels to draw a Kereru, we all had a piece of the Kereru Bird to draw. It all came out really well.
Wishing you all a safe, happy Easter holiday break and school holidays.

Our trip visit to the Local Stream
We went to the Local Stream on Wednesday 12th March and we learnt all
about stream habitat, water quality and species found in streams. We walked to the stream, had a wonderful time and we learnt a lot. Thank you so much to the parent
helpers and Kate, Dianne and Paul the fish man from Wai Care who all
made our trip possible.
We have been learning about our local streams, what's good for them and what's not good for them.
The creatures that live in the stream like cool, clean water but don't like pollution like oil or petrol, or litter.
The creatures are Biotic which means living things. Things that aren't alive such as cans, concrete and plastic bags are called Abiotic and can cause damage to living things.
