Pasifika Show Case
This term, we learned all about Tokelau. Tokelau is located in the South Pacific Ocean halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand. It has three atolls named Atafu, Nukunonu and Fakaofo and it under New Zealand government. We learned how to write some instructions on how to make 'Ota" raw fish, a traditional Tokelauan dish.
On Friday 19th September, it was our Pacifika Showcase, we sang a Tokelauan song called Tagi Hina and a group of Year 6 students danced to the Tokelauan song Pate Pate.
Check out our photos:)
