OUR FANTASTIC CAMP AT CAREY PARK
Wow on Monday 19th November 2012, the awesome Year 6 students went to Carey Park in Henderson for a week. We all had an amazing experience and really enjoyed ourselves.
Here are the list of the cool and fun activities that we participated in. We did lots of exciting activities in activity groups throughout the week.
- Rope Maze
- Climbing Wall
- Scream Machine
- Flying Fox
-Kayaking
- Confidence Course
- Air Rifles
- Archery
- River Games
-Outdoor cooking where we made delicious piklets with maple syrup:)
On Monday we went for a long and tiring bush walk where it was very challenging, slippery and fun.
In the evening we played some great games with the Carey Park Instructors.
On Tuesday we completed four activities followed by a lovely movie night while we watched Yogi Bear.
On Wednesday we completed three activities followed by a nice and warm Camp Fire Night where we roasted pink, creamy and tasty marshmallows. Mrs Gwilliam and the other staff members from PCS visited us for the day and joined in with us:)
On Thursday, we completed the final three activities. After that, we continued practicing our items for Concert Night in the evening. We performed magic tricks, skits, sound effects, dances and sang songs. The teachers did a super performance for us too. It was fantastic to see our parents and caregivers there for the special night.
Sadly and finally on Friday, we cleaned and packed up to return to PCS. It was such an amazing experience for us all and we were very lucky to get this opportunity.
Many thanks to all the parents and the teachers who took care of us. We really appreciate it.
It was such a memorable way to end our Primary Education.
