On 30th June Thursday, it was Nathan's 11th birthday!!

In the morning we sang him happy birthday and wished him good luck for the future.

After break 1 Nathan's Aunty dropped a colossal basket of delicious fruits for Room 26 to eat.

Before Break 2 started, Miss Lee handed out some fruits for us to eat. Some of the students  also got to see Nathan opening his gift from Miss Jacinta and reading his card from Rasleen. Miss Jacinta gave him a book about Wiggles.

After break 2 we took a normal photo and a silly photo with Nathan. Here is our favourite photo we would love to share with you.

Room 26 has been doing the calk walk to fundraise for the year 6 camp. Cake walk is when people buy cakes or make cakes then bring it to school. The children have to buy some  tickets to win the yummy cakes. Room 26 made lots of money. These are some of the pictures of the calk walk. By Rasleen.

She told us to dip our feather into the water but before that we predicted on how our feather will feel. After that we dipped our feathers into the oil and there was a big difference between oil and water.

Year 6 MOTAT Trip

Friday 5 March 2016

On Friday 5 of March the Year 6 went to Motat. Motat is a place where you can learn about Transport and Technology. We went with our parent helpers and we explored places with our class. We saw trains, old Fire Stations, Classroom Rules, Old Technology and what it was like when we didn't have toilets and washing machines.

My favourite part about this trip was about when we learned about classroom rules and the left handed people got a smack on the knuckles if they wrote with their left hand, thank goodness I am not left handed.

Room 26's Amazing Art Work

Last week Room 26 went to the art room and created this amazing piece of art.Once we got there each table had one packet of oil pastel. We blended some colours with white to make it stand out.
Each student had a picture to design this massive piece of art.We had to look really closely at the picture and copy every single detail from it.Then Miss Lee arranged it like a puzzle and it made this beautiful art.
